The starting dose of 50–100 mg/day should be administered after meals in divided doses or as a single dose at bedtime. The dose can be increased up to 300 mg/day.

The larger portion of a divided dose should be taken before bedtime. In hospitalized patients, the dose can be increased up to 600 mg/day, in divided doses.

Elderly patients the use of Deprax: Start treatment after meals in divided doses or a single dose of 50–100 mg/day, at bedtime.

The dose can be increased, according to medical prescription, depending on the clinical response. It is unlikely that a 300 mg/day dose will be exceeded.


How to take Deprax

Follow exactly the instructions for administration of this medicine indicated by your doctor. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Take this medicine by mouth.

Take Deprax tablets with a glass of water, with or after meals. This can help reduce the chance of side effects.
