Parsley is used as a seasoning or garnishes in a large number of dishes in cuisines around the world.

Among the properties of perjil, it stands out that it can provide protein, fiber, calcium, iron, potassium, vitamin A, folate, thiamin, flavonoids, myristicin, and apiol, reports Infosalud. In addition, it is a considerable source of beta-carotene, a powerful antioxidant.

According to a study published by King Saud University, South Africa, parsley makes it easier to lose weight thanks to its purifying action, being a diuretic that eliminates accumulated fat, especially abdominal fat.

Precisely, the presence of beta-carotene is attributed to the ability to lower blood triglyceride levels. Thus, one of the best ways to take parsley is through tea or infusion.


To prepare it, we will only have to boil a branch of fresh parsley in a liter of water for five minutes. Let stand for about 15 and then strain the water.

Then let it cool down and store it in the fridge for a few hours. Then our parsley tea will be ready to invest for 15 to 20 days so that we can notice its effects.
