How to take, eat or consume chia seeds

If you want to take chia seeds, we recommend the following steps:

Grind the seeds with the help of a mortar or a coffee grinder to digest them well while enjoying all their properties. A few strokes will suffice, it is not necessary to grind them 100%.

Add it to a hot or cold liquid such as juices or smoothies. It will be left with a gelatinous texture.

If you take them without handling, hydrate them and chew them very well. A hot liquid will only need 15 minutes and if it is cold, the maceration time is between one and two hours. Do not boil the chia that loses its properties.

The flavor of chia is practically innocuous and does not influence the taste of food, is ideal for both sweet and salty.
