Aloft the last year or so, rapper Action Bronson has experienced an unbalanced weight loss transformation. He recently made an illusion on the Joe Rogan Experience to discuss this journey, and why he decided to make a change.
Bronson, real name Ariyan Arslani, is a man of many talents. Not only is he a prominent rapper, but he ignited off as a chef before transitioning to music, and also dabbles in the world of painting.
One of the trademarks of Arslani was his larger-than-life person that was displayed through a bit of a round physique.
If it is true when they say to never trust a thin chef, then he must have had the faith of many who he cooked for.
Nevertheless, around March of last year, Action Bronson concluded that it was time to make a change.
So he began working out, shedding weight, and living a much healthier lifestyle, inspiring everyone who was watching him go through it.
This was something that he chose to open up about when he made a show on JRE. Here, he spoke to Joe Rogan about what made him decide it was time to start dropping pounds and make the changes in his life.
The rapper awakes up around 4:30 a.m. to furnish working out into his busy schedule.
Before his morning of lifting, bench pressing, and operating a boxing bag, Bronson likes to start off with a protein shake and softly scrambled eggs.
Bronson’s special protein shiver recipe includes olive oil, fruit, almonds, almond milk, and protein.
He normally makes two parts of the shake: one for before the workout and one for immediately after.
For his eggs, Bronson likes to avoid any browning — like most trained chefs.
The chef’s lunch consists of 5 to 10 egg whites along with chicken — but that doesn’t stop him from mixing it up occasionally
Bronson told Men’s Health after he ends up his workout he tries to eat shortly. The chef can eat five to 10 egg whites along with chicken and “lots of broccoli” tossed with olive oil and garlic.
Bronson had to work troublesome to cut out unhealthy snacking. He’s succeeded it by making a third protein shake to drink throughout the day and munching on roasted nuts with cinnamon, honey, and cayenne pepper.
Though he has his go-to lunch, it doesn’t stop him from being bold with his food choices within reason.
“It’s so hard to tell you what I eat because it’s different day-to-day. My mother-in-law may be there and she’s making sopita — you can’t say no to that, but it’s healthy,” Bronson said.
For his dinners, Bronson likes to ‘keep it light’ with a low carb meal, usually consisting of broccoli and chicken
Like much of his day, Bronson keeps his dinners low carb with grilled chicken and broccoli.
While the chef is happy with the shift in his life, it doesn’t stop him from juggling the occasional carb, like pizza and good pasta.
Bronson has effectively cut dessert out of his life, aside from raw sweets like cocoa and almond butters or the exclusive baklava, a sweet pastry his Albanian family serves only on special occasions.
In June of 2020, Bronson published a video on Instagram of him doing push-ups with a caption that said: “I was on a path that leads straight to the graveyard. Eating for sport took its toll, but it’s my fault and it’s on me to fix it.” His most current post shows the rapper (rightfully) bragging about his new 248-pound physique.
Since Bronson has devoted to a healthier lifestyle, he hasn’t flickered. At least once per week, “Bam Bam” update his devotees with gym videos. His workouts are varied and incredibly tough.
For example, he pursued a 33-inch box jump with 100 100-pound kettlebell swings, T-bar deadlifts, a 445-pound trap-bar deadlift, 100 sumo squats, and then 100 “five-second” squats (which, we think, means he does eccentric reps.) That’s just one workout. Bronson also aims his longtime passion for the sport of Strongman and hits up tire flips and farmer’s carries.
Back in August of 2020, when Bronson was just over 100 pounds down, he made an impression on the hit YouTube chicken wing interview show Hot Ones. (Let it be understood that the man opted to eat broiled chicken rather than fried wings. That’s dedication.) Host Sean Evans asked him about his love of strongman and how it has penetrated his lyrics and lifestyle.

Bronson has demonstrated from his training videos and in interviews that he has steadily evolved into a more typical weightlifting program.
He also speaks of being a big fan of strongmen and heavy weights. To work into his new style of training we’ll also, be integrating resources for mixed martial arts training (which he still utilizes), HIIT, endurance and more, which will be both necessary and elective training to pick up the Action Bronson volume of training.
