•even greyish coloration on the lips or hands.

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as possible, but do not combine it with the next dose because then you will be doubling it.
You should not drink alcohol while you are being treated with this medicine as it decreases the effect of colchicine.
Be very careful in the case of patients with kidney or liver problems, if you suffer from heart failure, and a duodenal ulcer.
